The Perioperative Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care to all patient populations on this unit during the hours (s)he is on duty. The Perioperative RN possesses skills and knowledge to competently provide appropriate nursing care. Experience with scrubbing and circulating major complex surgical cases, including General, Ortho, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, and Ophthalmology is required.
Skills and Certifications
- Active CA RN license.
- Previous scrub and circulating experience in an acute care operating room.
Ideal Candidate
Well-rounded Operating Room Nurse with the ability to scrub and circulate a variety of cases including ortho, general, and spine. Must have worked in an acute care hospital operating room for a minimum of 2 years.
