The Charge Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. The Charge Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individual patient care on a nursing unit according to unit policies and procedures. Performs comprehensive assessments of patients. Updates individualized care plans. Demonstrates competence in the role of leader. Oversees the delegation of tasks to Certified Nurse Aides and monitors for compliance with policies and procedures.
Required Experience
1-2 years facility-based experience in long term care, skilled nursing.
* VA state-issued (current and unencumbered) license to practice as a practical nurse.

$30.00 starting hourly base
