Job Description
We are looking for a PC Support Specialist in Atlanta, GA for a 4+ months contract position.

Job Title: PC Support Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 4+ months
Client: Direct Client
Rate: $13-$16/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing tests and ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
- Work with desktop software images and update desktop software/applications using technologies such as Ghost, Windows Group Policy, and others.
- Maintain accurate record of surplus equipment and newly deployed systems.
- Work with other IT staff to maintain and support Windows desktops and laptops.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
- Be able to lift at least 50lbs of weight.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with at least 3 years of work experience.
- A+ Certification is a plus.
Technical Experience:
- Knowledge of Windows 7, Active Directory/Group Policy Objects.
- Demonstrated high degree of judgment and exemplary customer service skills, including good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Experience building and deploying images for single-user and multi-user desktops.
- Understanding of email protocols (IMAP, POP, SMTP); security issues such as anti-virus, firewall rules, etc.
- Problem Solving, Presenting Technical Information, Process Improvement, Software Maintenance, Software Testing, Software Performance Tuning.
- Knowledge of Apple OSX System for Apple iPads is a plus.
