We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We want you to apply!
Job Summary and Qualifications
- Documents patient information, presents correct information for interpretation, and performs other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion.
- Performs all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures.
- Performs imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements.
- Performs non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring.
- Efficiently operates electronic information system and Unit Dose Manager.
- Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and organized working environment.
- Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine.
- Participates in a departmental OA/PI project as needed.
- Render care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- One year experience in Nuclear Medicine (may include experience in formal NM training program).
