I am the Regional Medical Director of Sound Critical Care in the greater Richmond area for our growing group of hospital partners. I am proud to lead our team as we expand our partnership with Bon Secours to include Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. This will be our fourth Bon Secours partner hospital in the greater Richmond area and we are looking to add experienced critical care physicians to our incredible team.
I want to share more about who we are and what we do — specifically about our people, practice, and purpose — as you consider your options:
People
- We are building a team of 5 board-certified critical care physicians and 3 experienced critical care advanced practice providers at Southside Regional Medical Center.
- Within our partner hospitals, we work closely with our colleagues from various departments and disciplines to ensure that the highest level of care is provided to our patients.
- Petersburg is a growing community located just 30 minutes south of Richmond offering rich history, and easy access to Washington, DC, the gorgeous beaches of Virginia, and Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, all within a few hours.
- Petersburg is part of the Tri-Cities area and offers the convenience of suburban living with the beauty and respite of a recreational oasis.
Practice
- Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center is a 300-bed hospital and is part of the larger Bon Secours Health System which serves communities in 6 states.
- Southside Regional Medical Center is designed as a level III trauma center and primary stroke center with a full complement of medical subspecialties.
- The hospital boasts 28 ICU beds in total, 14 MICU and 14 CVICU.
- We are looking for board-eligible or board-certified critical care physicians to join our team.
- We work in EPIC, with access to our internal informatics platform.
