RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Director of Labor & Delivery at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, located in Newark, NJ. The Labor and Delivery Department at Newark Beth Israel averages 3,000 deliveries per year with a team of obstetricians, midwives, and a dedicated nursing staff specifically trained in childbirth. This is a great opportunity for an experienced physician to have a desirable work/life balance as this role is solely Monday-Friday with no nighttime or weekend shifts. This position will be partially administrative and will focus on reviewing policy and procedures, implementing daily workflow for a team of physicians, while striving to achieve a 1 standard of care model.
This position is located only 30 minutes outside of NYC, and is in close proximity to suburban New Jersey communities, this diverse inner city has skyline views of NYC, local architecture, and delicious multicultural restaurants!
