Job Summary: Emergency Radiologic Technologists work as part of a health care team to provide critical information necessary in diagnosing patients of all ages by performing x-rays, computed tomography (CT), and laboratory studies for a variety of illnesses and injuries. Position will also be responsible for assisting clinical staff with other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $38.00-$43.00/Hour DOE
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have hospital experience in CT and X-Ray, preferably in Emergency Medicine. He/She will have excellent communication skills, self-discipline, and the knowledge to handle emergent radiology situations timely and with accuracy.

Requirements
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Associate Degree (two-year college or technical school)
- Required: Graduate of accredited School of Radiology
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of one year as a practicing X-Ray and computed tomography technologist.
Computer Skills:
- Required: Basic computer skills
Certification and Licenses:
- Required: ARRT, BLS, Texas Radiologic Technologist License
Summary of Duties:

- Works as part of a healthcare team to perform required patient interventions including radiological procedures, laboratory procedures, and assisting physicians and nurses with patient care.

- Produces high-quality radiography by following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards/procedures, properly developing radiographs, observing radiographic results, making adjustments as needed, etc.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuing education, reviewing professional publications, and involvement in professional societies as required by licensing board.
