Job Summary
The Clinical Nutrition Manager will oversee all aspects of clinical nutrition, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental standards. This role involves establishing and upholding policies in alignment with best practices as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, while being sensitive to the organizational culture. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for program development and expansion in clinical nutrition, community outreach, research, and education. Additionally, the Clinical Nutrition Manager will support interprofessional collaboration to optimize patient outcomes, uphold nutritional standards of care, enhance care coordination, and promote a holistic approach to healthcare delivery. The role also includes providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to frontline team members and performing all duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in food and nutrition or Dietetics from an institution with an accredited program is required; specialty certifications a plus.
- CDR Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetics Registration – RDN.
- Licensure with the Dietetics and Nutrition Practice Council - Florida Department of Health – LDN.
- Five (5) years as a practicing Registered Dietician in a clinical setting, inclusive of two (2) years in a demonstrated leadership role.
