As an LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse, you will carry out our Mission of Love by coordinating, delegating, and administering total care for residents on a specified shift and unit.
Responsibilities:
- Working with all nursing personnel to develop comprehensive care plans based on an accurate initial assessment of resident needs and strengths
- Providing work schedules and assignments to a group of non-exempt employees or a small group of professionals
- Conducting performance reviews, recommending and may conducting disciplinary action and resolution.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Temporary Practice Permit for a Graduate Practical Nurse or an LPN License.
- Current CPR certification.
- A sincere interest in and concern for quality of care for the elderly and for those with limited physical and/or mental capacity.
- Effective communication orally and in writing with supervisors, subordinates, peers, residents and their families, visitors to the facility, and other departmental personnel.
- Sound nursing judgment in the performance of responsibilities.
- The ability to analyze the effectiveness of medication and treatments and the potential for adverse reactions.
- Long-term care experience, preferred.
