Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our community's children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16 bed PICU, 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

Position Information:
Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatric Behavioral Health seeks several full-time Pediatric Psychologists to join our growing team! This outpatient position will provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who present with a range of psychiatric and developmental conditions. This position works with a dynamic multidisciplinary team comprised of clinical psychologists, multiple licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), mental health workers (LMHC), social workers (BSW), neurologists, developmental pediatricians, psychiatrists, and several other critical support staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call required!
Outpatient Therapy: We are seeking several licensed psychologists to provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who present with a range of psychiatric and developmental conditions.
Psychological/Neuropsychological Testing: We are also seeking at least one psychologist or neuropsychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and/or neuropsychological testing for children, adolescents, and young adults who present with a variety of psychiatric and developmental concerns. Referrals primarily come from multidisciplinary team members, including other psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, neurologists, and/or developmental pediatricians. The candidate should be proficient in administering a range of psychological and/or neuropsychological testing instruments assessing cognitive, academic, socio-emotional, and personality functioning; possess strong diagnostic and clinical conceptual skills; and be adept at timely and comprehensive report-writing with a focus on communicating results to treatment providers, parents, and other relevant stakeholders. There is a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration across providers for this position, which may also involve supervision of a psychological examiner/psychometrist.
Requirements: Candidate must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited graduate program. Candidate must also have completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical counseling or school psychology, have at least one year of post-doctoral training under supervision of a licensed psychologist, and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida. A valid and active Florida license is required prior to start date. Prior experience in outpatient pediatric behavioral health is required. Psychologists providing treatment should have proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities. Psychologists conducting psychological/neuropsychological testing should have prior experience administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of psychological and/or neuropsychological instruments, report writing, and dissemination of results to other treatment providers and other members involved in patients' care.
