AZAD is seeking an Interim Speech Pathologist for a W2 Contract position based in Salinas, California.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high probability of extending

Compensation & Benefits: Between $25.50 - $27.50 hourly rate, plus daily stipends (7 days/week) including $184 Lodging and $74 Meals. Weekly Compensation (including stipends) between $2,826 - $2,906. Benefits include a Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k

Summary:

The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication disorders.

Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Provide therapy to improve speech, language and swallowing abilities.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

Manage cases effectively through proper documentation and case management.

Setting; Inpatient hospital, comfortable with Modified barium swallows and adult patients ranging from MedSurg, ICU to strokes.

Qualifications:

BLS - AHA, CA SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) License required.

Graduation from an accredited speech therapy program required.
