The per diem Pain Management Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- Master's Degree
- Maintains clinical competencies through participating in continuing educational programs (contact hours per year) and clinical practice as mandated by the Board of Nursing and national certification body
- Experience in relevant patient care setting or as regulations dictate
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:
- Master's Prepared Advanced Practice Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
- Valid Driver's license
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- Advanced Practice Nurse Certification (with Master's Degree)
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- CPR certification
