We have an opening in Cambridge, MA for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2+ years of emergency medicine or 3+ years’ experience in high volume urgent care, which includes the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
In the center, you will: examine and treat urgent care patients, ensure proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; prescribe and administer medication; request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.
Our centers are open 7 days per week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Full-time positions must be able to work three or four 12-hour shifts per week (84 hours biweekly) including every other weekend.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Provide 5-star patient care; we love our patients, and we want you to as well, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and fluid work environment.
- Experience with EHR systems, occupational health, emergency room, and family practice procedures.
- Able to use necessary medical equipment: EKG, nebulizer, etc.
Education & Experience:
- A current NP or PA License in one of our urgent care states, in which you are applying.
- Must be credentialed to see patients of all ages.
- Active DEA license with no restrictions.
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified.
