To evaluate, plan, direct and administer programs of audiology as prescribed by the referring physician. To evaluate hearing of patients with ear abnormalities and/or auditory disorders. To provide rehabilitation services for the purposes of hearing loss prevention, communication retraining, and hearing aid adaptation as needed.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Audiology or a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) required. Must complete clinical fellowship and receive Certificate of Clinical Competence within designated time frame. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
