Our client is one of the top-rated veterinary practices in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Located in Northeast, Iowa, Cedar Falls sits along the Cedar River. Practice Overview
Our client’s mission is to treat every pet that walks into their clinic as their own. They are a full-service small animal hospital that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Their facility is equipped with an in-house lab using Abaxis and Idexx products, surgical suite, in-house digital radiology as well as digital dental radiology, indoor kennels, and outdoor walking areas. In addition, they offer what no one else in the community does with their canine rehabilitation, chiropractic care, and alternative medicine. What really sets them apart is their team’s dedication to delivering high quality care in a friendly and compassionate environment. They make an impact on each client as they know them on a personal level and provide educated treatment plans. What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of two years of experience required
- Training and/or certification for “Fear Free” is a PLUS!
- Experience or interest in internal medicine or cardiology is a bonus
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of care and service
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
