Your Role with Us:
The brand-new Discharge Ready Unit is a 36-bed unit dedicated to providing excellent patient care to those patients who are medically stable to discharge but are experiencing a discharge delay to a community setting. The unit utilizes a multidisciplinary approach of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Care Management, Acute Therapies, and Physicians to ensure that patients receive a holistic approach to optimizing their care as they transition out of the hospital. Nursing staff aim to provide care to a wide variety of diagnoses, across multiple medical specialties. They will continue to provide wound care, pain management, and patient teaching as appropriate to maintain or improve baseline functional status of the patient.

Background/Expertise:
- Requires BSN or BAN or non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with MSN or ADN with an agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire.
- ADN with 5+ years of experience not required to get BSN.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
