Location
Our client is located in Long Beach, New York. Sitting on the south shore of Long Island, the center of fishing and seafood. Traveling in and out of this city is easy and very convenient with the help of LIRR.
They are a 40-minute train ride to New York City. You can enjoy the outdoors all year round and it is very family friendly! The city has great access to the beaches, parks, storefronts, boardwalks and attractions just within your backyard!

Practice Overview
Our client has been proudly serving the community since 1984. A full service veterinary hospital that offers complete medical, surgical and dental care for pets, including exotics.
Their services include laser surgery, digital radiology, telemedicine, nutrition, boarding and daycare, and so much more! Their hospital has a full on-site pharmacy, in-house diagnostics, ICU and isolation area,
and their pet-friendly playroom for dogs and “kitty condos” for felines. They believe that listening to their clients’ needs is where good medicine starts as they take a proactive, “Fear Free” approach to their pet care.
Using the latest medical advances, plus integrating the best of both western and holistic medicine. Their team is highly trained and passionate about providing the highest quality care and education to their clients and patients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of New York
- Open to New Grads!
- Must be able and willing to perform general surgical procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous education and growth
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
- Must be willing to and want to learn and grow skillset
