Pay: $70.00-$85.00
With a Pay Range of $70.00 - $85.00 Per Visit, you could make:
- Full-Time: 25-40 visits a week = $91,000 to $145,600 annually
- Part-Time: 10-24 visits a week = $37,000 to $83,000 annually
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist with experience in pediatrics to join our team! In this role, you will assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans to improve their communication and swallowing abilities. You will provide therapy and document progress to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop skilled and high-quality care plans that meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results.
- Create and implement speech therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the physician.
- Assist pediatric and young adult patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional functioning and improve their level of independence.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and above-average organizational skills.
- Excellent documentation skills with good understanding of basic home health agency regulations and requirements.
- Solid grasp on electronic medical record documenting.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Experience in home health or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse client needs.
