The Surgery Center Surgical Technician will be responsible for assisting the surgical team in the operating room. They will be responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available. They will also be responsible for performing pre- and post-operative cleaning, as well as assisting the surgical team during the procedure. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be flexible, have effective communication skills, be in excellent physical condition, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. They must also be well-versed in sterile processing and comfortable working in an operating room.
Experience:
- Minimum two years' experience as a surgical technician at a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting required.
- Experience in surgical procedures related to pain, spine and orthopedic preferred.
