A leading critical access hospital located in northern Maine is now seeking an experienced Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This location services a community of nearly 20,000 residents and offers a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services. The specialty services offered include family medicine, pain management, obstetrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, urology, podiatry, surgical services, diagnostics, and rehabilitative care.
Reporting to the Radiology Manager, the Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist will utilize radioactive materials to diagnose and treat patient diseases. Responsibilities include:
- Offering safe storage and disposal of patient materials
- Preparing radioactive materials
- Administering materials to patients
- Operating nuclear instruments
- Preparing information and test analysis for physicians
- Serving as a patient advocate
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist ARRT(N) or CNMT
- Prior working experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
