What you will be doing:
BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care to clients struggling with substance abuse. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care.
What tasks are required?
- Perform initial and ongoing assessment of client’s medical, physical, and psychosocial status.
- Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary for clients in recovery.
- Obtain and evaluate health and medical history; perform a physical exam; conduct preventive screening procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
What we need from you:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state.
- 2 years of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders preferred.
- Experience prescribing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
