As a Drain Technician at Sila, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide unparalleled plumbing and drain cleaning solutions that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of our customers. Your technical expertise, dedication to excellence, and customer-centric approach will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional residential plumbing services.
As a Sila Drain Cleaning Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning drains using provided machinery
- Using electric snakes, high-velocity water jets, and sewer cameras for inspecting drain lines
- Fixing frozen lines and steam thaw during the winter months
- Repairing underground sewers and drains using excavation methods
- Regularly communicating with Plumbing Coordinator
- Properly selecting invoice tasks, completing all necessary forms, and conducting debrief calls with Plumbing Coordinator
- Recommending memberships, repairs, upgrades, and replacements when it is in the best interest of the customer
- Collecting payment for services rendered at time of service
- Inputting or updating all customer equipment data into CRM
- Utilizing all pertinent marketing materials
- Ensuring your truck stock is replenished and your truck bin is empty
- Confirming time sheets on tablet
- Cleaning vehicle (inside and out)
- Attending Team meetings
- Attending company provided training classes
- Staying up to date on all company sales promotions
- Conducting a vehicle inspection
- Inventorying truck stock
Drain Technician Success Metrics:
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide clear explanations and educate customers about their plumbing systems, offering preventive maintenance tips and energy-saving recommendations.
- Continual Improvement: Actively participate in performance reviews, self-assessments, and trainings.
- First-Time Fix Rate: Achieve a best-in-class first-time fix rate by accurately diagnosing issues and effectively completing repairs during the initial service call.
- Response Time: Respond to service requests within Sila's defined time frame.
- Service Revenue Generation: Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Service Agreement Enrollment: Successfully enroll customers in Sila's service agreements.
- Productivity and Utilization: Maintain a high level of productivity by efficiently managing work orders.
- Technical Excellence: Diagnose common and diverse plumbing emergencies efficiently and accurately.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of service vehicle inventory and parts stock.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a perfect safety record by following all safety protocols.
- Documentation Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service calls.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Professionalism and Communication: Uphold professional communication and appearance at all times.
- Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain a consistent record of punctuality and attendance.
- Additional duties as assigned
$20 - $35 an hour
Competitive compensation including a lucrative hourly wage, commission, and bonuses.
