Job Summary:
The ICU RN manages the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs, administering prescribed medications, managing ventilators, and providing comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care ICU RN experience (candidates with 1 year of ICU experience may be considered if they have multiple years of RN experience)
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
- Current State of Florida license for Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- CCRN preferred
Salary Range:
- $29.92 per hour (2 years of experience)
- Mid: $37.40 per hour (10+ years of experience)
- Max: $44.88 per hour (20+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials:
- $3.25 for nights
- $2.00 for weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs
- Carry out physician orders
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Provide respiratory and ventilator management
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments
- Coordinate discharge planning needs
- Provide age and culturally appropriate care
- Mentor and orient new staff members
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
