HCA Healthcare Internal Medicine Hospitalist Medical Director - Walterboro, South Carolina

We have an excellent full-time medical director opportunity for a physician to join our hospitalist (HM) team at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

Oversight and support of all clinical and non-clinical activities provided by the hospitalist program.
Creating a team culture that values high performance and excellent patient care.
Ensuring hospitalists are engaged and aligned with quality, safety, and efficiency goals.
Managing the program to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.
Strategic planning responsibilities including physician communications and business development.
Participating in clinical oversight of the practice.
Leading recruitment, orientation, and onboarding of new clinicians.
Monitoring individual hospitalist performance and providing feedback.
Completing routine performance reviews as needed.
Working with the regional medical director and vice president of operations to adhere to facility contractual requirements and operating budget.
