The Director, Capability Team Lead is accountable and responsible for global management of all capabilities related to the cluster within IT Marketing & Sales enabling customer value and infusing best-in-class technology. This includes global responsibility for compliance, talent management, performance, stability and cost efficiency of all IT processes and IT services provided to the Marketing and Sales organizations. Furthermore, the Cluster Lead acts as counterpart and escalation point with local and global stakeholders considering cross-functional requirements and ensures appropriate IT services to enable business value. This functional area global leader will also be responsible as follows:
- Manages and develops the IT human capital assigned in IT M&S functional area AND cross functional chapters, act as role model.
- Drives needed level of harmonization and integration of the processes and application landscape for the functional area, in full consistency with the overall Enterprise Architecture.
- Influences and executes on the functional area strategic direction in alignment with IT M&S organizational strategic direction.
- Ensures appropriate systems and services are developed and delivered to the Marketing and Sales organizations.
- Steers, leads, and manages all program/project management activities, product development and business consulting within the group of capabilities, engaging and acting as the business partner to the Marketing and Sales organizations and driving initiatives.
- Increases efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by applying adequate Strategies, IT methods and technologies.
- Builds and provides strategic leadership in functional area.
- Drives strategic alignment with the Marketing and Sales functions and enables strategies with technologies.
- Scouts for innovation in the field of responsibility and beyond and implements innovative ideas to create business value.

Compensation Data: This position offers a base salary typically between $167,000 and $289,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. For an overview of our benefits please click here.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the IT M&S Patient Team working as a partner to the Patient Excellence organization.
- Build and support the execution strategy for early engagement in new indications from an IT perspective.
- Build, maintain and enhance strategic and sustainable relationships with patient services and across the different therapeutic areas.
- Showcase the value of patient services by delivering best-in-class patient engagement tools & applications across the therapeutic lifecycle.
- Provide dedicated support to local launch and brand teams as well as other key local workstreams by identifying critical areas for patient engagement.
- Candidate will interface with corporate teams (OneTeam), Patient Excellence VPs, HP Operations, Legal & Compliance and many vendors.
- Global position with a complex effort to implement and support Patient centric systems for launch products in all countries.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in IS/IT OR Master’s degree in Business Administration AND/OR Professional Training with 8-10 years’ experience.
-Senior executive leader with extensive IS and Business experience.
-At least 3 years of leadership experience is needed, 4-6 year is preferred.
-Must be a strong strategic thinker and motivator and understands what delivers true value to the business.
-10 years of experience with demonstrated track record in managing complex cross-functional IT environments, successful project delivery, established business relationships across multiple business areas.
-Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
-Strong experience working with teams focused on the patient.
-Strong analytic skills and attention to detail and ability to think strategically and see the big picture.

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
-A solid understanding of all aspects of the pharma and/or biopharma and/or chemical industry in terms of Legal, Compliance, GxP, Computer Validation and Regulatory Requirements is preferred.
