Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direction and supervision of the personnel for high complexity testing while acting as a working manager.
- Monitor test analysis and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
- Have working knowledge of laboratory technology including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and bacteriology.
- Maintain records that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples.
- Responsible for ensuring all shifts and call times are scheduled and covered including lining up agency staff.
- Show initiative in duties performed and be prompt in carrying out orders for tests and procedures.
- Ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are carried out in an expeditious manner. Responsible for recognizing results or problems that require referral to the pathologist.
- Follow the established procedures for specimen handling and processing test analysis, reporting, and maintaining patient results.

Qualifications:
4 years’ experience in a high complexity lab
- BS degree or a clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) license.
Candidates must be energetic and ambitious, possess strong leadership skills, willing to work as a team, have a positive attitude, friendly, and compassionate toward patients.
