Description:
Provides administrative and clinical supervision of behavioral health staff providing services to program participants and families as assigned primarily through the BCBS Health Equities Pilot Project. This includes participants of varying ages and socioeconomic statuses. Assists with, and provides services, for other related business as needed focused around care coordination and service delivery for families with medical, developmental, and behavioral health needs. Manages and supports staff through patient crisis; provides administrative and clinical supervision, as needed, and assists with ensuring program and staff are meeting assigned goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and clinical supervision of program staff.
- Participates in and develops orientation courses, staff development programs, and training of program staff and students, as needed.
- Tracks staff outcomes / identifies and implements strategies for improvement to meet program / staff goals.
- Develops reports and documents, as needed, to demonstrate program outcomes and barriers.
- Supports staff in problem solving day-to-day challenges in accomplishing work tasks.
- Responds to patient related crisis, within scope of training, and appropriately engages leadership and other team members to provide support. Provides other direct services to patient population as needed.
- Assists with overall program development and implementation to achieve best outcomes for total program population.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited school or university in social or behavioral science or a related health specialty area.
- Current State of IL Licensure as a Licensed Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in a behavioral health or similar role.
