Practice small town medicine close to the Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Hampton Roads metropolitan area. The City is within two hours of Raleigh and the Outer Banks. This area is rich in native-American, colonial and antebellum history. Located between the headwaters of the Roanoke and Chowan Rivers, just north of the Albemarle Sound, the area offers a moderate cost of living and the temperate climate support a variety of year round outdoor activities.
