Head of Data Engineering

A market leader is seeking a Head of Data Engineering as part of their Digital Transformation efforts.

Your new company: A market leader in the energy industry is seeking a Head of Data Engineering as part of their Digital Transformation efforts.

Your new role: In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for:

Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Enterprise Data Hub, ensuring data integrity from source to target.
Collaborate with data business owners to identify opportunities for data utilisation and value extraction.
Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders to develop a comprehensive data engineering practice.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data management team.

What you'll need to succeed:

At least 8 years of experience in managing large-scale data environments, including data warehousing, big data platforms, and real-time data processing systems.
Demonstrable experience with managing both structured and unstructured data across various data storage technologies.
Familiarity with cloud data services and solutions like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Strong ability to engage with and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
