Job Description
Position: Just Enough Technical Lead Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day production support
- Pull data from various systems and utilize data relationships to turn large data sets into insightful summarized results that can be easily conveyed to leadership
- Develop new reporting/analytics tools to assist the day to day finance processes
- Update system configurations to support business change requests
- Maintain/develop user reports and input schedules
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Document Standard Operating Procedures and Policies to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Provide user training and create self-development guides
- Take the lead role in driving process/reporting/analytical enhancements
- Leverage technology to improve FP&A processes/reporting
- Coordinate directly with various business groups to understand requirements, translate into a design and execute the implementation of major updates to our financial systems
- Ad-Hoc analysis
Qualifications
- Strong database and systems administration skills for data warehouse and transactional systems is a plus
- Business Analytics/Business Intelligence experience with solid understanding of the data flow and the Lead-to-Cash cycle
- Experience designing testing plans and conducting user acceptance testing
- Ability to consistently produce high quality deliverables with strict attention to detail
- Respect and expect accountability
- Must have Just Enough ERP experience
- BA/BS degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years of Management Information Systems experience, with a focus in Finance ERP systems
