Job Function
Reporting into the VP Commercial Americas and Global Strategy PECC, the Director of Sales, US & Canada will be remote and will be responsible for overseeing the US & Canada commercial team. This position is responsible for establishing and executing the growth strategy for porcelain enamel, ceramic coatings and glass products for the region. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of achieving profitable growth with existing and emerging segments and strong commercial leadership and business acumen. Critical to success is the ability to develop and execute business strategies that focus on building strong relationships with key accounts to increase share of wallet, building a culture of identifying and qualifying prospects, and accelerating conversion by leveraging our differentiated value proposition. The selected candidate will steer the company profitability while also implementing vision, mission, and long-term goals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth and define focus market priorities to align resources.
- Evaluate emerging segments and develop strategic growth plans.
- Lead competitive analysis reviews to prioritize product developments and value-added services to further differentiate Vibrantz that deliver our value proposition.
- Negotiate supply agreements that provide sustainable profitable growth.
- Implement tools, training, and processes (CRM / Sales Excellence) to accelerate opportunities, gain share, and build relationships.
- Execute the business strategies to attain the company’s goals.
- Provide strategic advice to VP, Sales Americas and implement comprehensive business plans.
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed by the commercial team.
- Communicate and maintain relationships with business partners.
- Performance management, including reward recognition.
- Analyze results and provide solutions to VP, Sales Americas to ensure company growth.
- Lead change management.
- Annual budget management for all commercial plans.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years management experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales in multiple markets.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, strategic planning.
