A luxury hotel group is looking to add a polished and analytical Corporate Director of Finance to their team to oversee their portfolio of sophisticated properties. This individual will oversee all areas of the finance department including payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and management. This requires an ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and provide accurate and timely financial reports as requested by leadership and corporate. Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000 base, 25% bonus, 401k with a company match, 80% employer-paid employee health insurance, vision, dental great PTO plan, and flexible schedule. No nights, no weekends, no holidays!
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
- Background in Hospitality as we need someone who understands the intricacies of hotel accounting
- Skilled in budgeting, payroll, and ensuring accounts receivable meets min. standards
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Be a diverse leader who will oversee the entire accounting department of the hotels
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team on achieving dynamic sound and strategic business solutions
- Lead and be responsible for all procedures, practices, and policies of the company
- Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Review general ledger, monthly taxes, and bank reconciliations to determine any discrepancies
