The Technical Project Manager will support senior level management with high level exposure through meetings and briefings. The ideal Candidate for the role will have solid technical specialist expertise in IT infrastructure management, Audio/Visual engineering, digital media integration, unified communications, and project management to define technology requirements, recommend and implement upgrades, and support current operations on an ongoing basis. If the Candidate does not have audio/visual experience, entertainment, gaming, or technology experience will be considered.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Identify new IT infrastructure, Audio/Visual, and digital media requirements to enhance the end user experience. Project manage installation, integration, and perform maintenance on existing technology.
- Presentation Development/Delivery: Presentation staging & production. Audio visual & technical support for presentation delivery systems. Monitor briefings to ensure successful execution.
- Demonstration support: Partner with product groups and R&D to identify, implement, manage, and maintain up-to-date demonstrations for the business units. Document the installation and operational aspects of new technology demonstrations. Troubleshoot any technical problems during installation.
- General hardware/software support: Maintain center hardware and software and is responsible for ordering, placement, installation, and repair of office equipment (LAN, PCs, printers, faxes, and copiers). Maintain equipment inventory and passwords. Provide technical training and support for business units, as well as visitors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree BS/BA in Computer sciences or engineering or math degree preferred.
- Expertise in a broad range of current and emerging technologies.
- 2+ years related experience in A/V production, systems integration, graphics, production, presentation staging/delivery and/or computer staging, a plus but not a must.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- PMP, CISSP, Six Sigma, Black Belt, SCRUM, AGILE are all a big plus.
