Tax Partner
Job Summary:
The Tax Partner is a senior executive position responsible for overseeing the firm's tax practice, developing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role involves leading and managing the tax team, providing strategic tax planning, and contributing to the firm's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the tax department, including supervising and mentoring staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the tax practice.
- Ensure efficient and effective workflow within the department.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on tax-related matters.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Review and approve complex tax returns and filings.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations, and communicate changes to clients and staff.

Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the tax practice.
- Participate in marketing and networking activities.
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.

Financial Management:
- Manage the financial performance of the tax department.
- Monitor budgets, billing, and profitability.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required; additional tax certifications (e.g., MST, JD, LLM) preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance.
- Proven track record of managing and leading a tax practice.
- Extensive experience in client relationship management.
