This Hospital is a BRAND NEW 300 bed acute care, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of the San Francisco Bay area. This hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non-profit exceptional patient care. Our client has engaged our firm to assist them in filling multiple positions of need for their rapidly expanding surgical unit.
Position Overview:
Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images to physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
- Associate's in Nursing or above. Bachelor's preferred.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 180 Days of hire
- BLS, CNOR preferred
- Scrub and Circulate. Cardiac, Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, Ophthalmology services
- Greater than six months recent acute care nursing experience Required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RN Operating Room Surgery
