Location: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska
Position: Part-time
Duties:
- Coordinate and provide Catholic ministry for teenagers and young adults, primarily for the JBER community.
- Conduct weekly meetings for Senior High Youth (grades 9-12) and twice-monthly meetings for Middle School Youth (grades 6-8).
- Organize monthly special events, activities, and retreats for both Senior High and Middle School Youth.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise volunteers.
- Provide advertising, promotional materials, and regular reports to the Senior Catholic Chaplain.
- Maintain records of supplies, materials, and attendance.
Requirements:
- Training in youth work with a minimum of two years of experience in youth ministry.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; seminary education desirable.
- Adherence to high moral and ethical standards consistent with the Christian nature of the chapel youth ministry program.
