Position Summary
The Senior Vice President, Consumer Experience, Analytics, and Insights will be responsible for leading the organization in developing and implementing an overall strategic direction and building the systems and processes to deliver differentiated consumer experiences that build loyalty consistent with our brand positioning and seamless journey approach.
This role will focus on optimization of end-to-end experiences and be the evangelist of the continued transformation to a consumer insight and data-driven organization. This role will ensure we are consistent in our efforts in building brand love and a culture of consumer centricity. This role will oversee the Voice of the Consumer, Consumer Journey, Design Thinking, Consumer Insights, and Consumer Analytics and will report to the Chief Consumer Officer of Under Armour.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess the current structure and talent to build an organization model that supports single point solutions, removes friction and drives accountability that is tailored to meet the consumer.
- Lead the integration efforts of consumer learnings, insights, and research to drive a holistic approach that informs the consumer journey, through connection and world-class experiences across the globe.
- Partner closely with executive leadership both globally and regionally to identify and problem solve opportunities for the consumer.
- Act as a principal facilitator to provide strategic leadership and guidance to the organization with key stakeholders by integrating consumer experience technology, services, programs, and structure to deliver brand love.
- Develop tangible solutions to accomplish strategic visions requiring significant organization-wide coordination and facilitation.
- Lead consumer experience-driven plans, solutions, and infrastructure that connects the dots digitally and supports cross-platform functionality.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for reporting, leadership engagement, and action planning that can inform user consumer experience improvements, opportunities, and future business decisions.
- Provide visionary leadership for performance improvement and quality initiatives to achieve goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership bringing standards and solutions across the organization.
- Influence a fundamental customer-centric culture transformation.
- Advance Under Armour’s mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Strong business acumen with ability to drive change in a large, complex organization with matrix reporting relationships.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale initiatives that have significant impact across the organization.
- Excellent team leadership and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple demands and projects.
Education And / Or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred (in business administration or marketing or analytics).
- 15 years of experience required.
- 8 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
