Overview
The Director of Business Applications reports to the AVP of Applications. The Director plans and directs all aspects of design, implementation and maintenance of the revenue cycle, ERP and other general business systems, with a focus on the Altera Star Patient Management Application. The Director performs administrative and management functions for the IS department and manages a team of analysts. This position will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and management of information systems that directly support business information system solutions. The Director plans, prioritizes, summarizes, directs and supervises staff, users and vendors in business applications development and support functions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required)
- Master’s Degree in business or related field (preferred)
Experience:
- Five (5) years of prior experience in a healthcare environment supporting revenue cycle and business systems (required)
- Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
- Three (3) years of prior experience in a leadership role (preferred)
