Annual Salary: $90,100.00 - $117,099.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)

About the Job
The Lead Marketing Audit Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end audit response program for the Marketing team. This position is responsible for analyzing internal and external audit requests, planning, and developing an appropriate response strategy, compiling required information, researching account specific nuances, proofing communication content, and summarizing and presenting complex and nuanced findings to internal and external stakeholders. This position will continually look for ways to improve the audit response program and ensure project managers are properly assigned to audits and clear on their responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create project plans, track and monitor results, prepare status reports, facilitate project meetings, escalate risks and help drive cross-functional audit projects to completion. Delegate these responsibilities to project managers as needed and ensure they are making progress on them.
- Create written narratives and compile supplemental information to address audit related inquiries, working with cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders.
- Analyze internal and external audit requests, research previous response approaches and develop appropriate response strategies.
- Obtain required data points needed for audits and account level testing and review for accuracy.
- Pull email, letter and other communication copies and proofread content to ensure it matches against expectations.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis, identify and investigate irregularities, and develop a complete understanding around all the nuances.
- Develop recommendations and reports based on audit findings and present to senior stakeholders.
- Continually evolve the overarching program that supports these activities including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedure, process flows, responsibility assignments, operational reference tools and other items.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of relevant business experience in process or program management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Visio
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to present complex and nuanced information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence others.
- Strong problem solving, deduction and critical thinking skills with an ability to translate ambiguous asks into tangible outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization and project management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Master's or Advanced
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with ADA, FCRA, FDCPA, EFTA, TCPA, GLBA, SCRA, UDAAP, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections.
- Financial services experience
- SQL querying experience
- Prior success conducting external or internal audits
- Prior project management experience
CERTIFICATION(S): PMP certification; Lean Six Sigma Certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections.
- Background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
