POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client, a leading clothing company based in Los Angeles, is in urgent need of a Sr. Web Application Tech Lead that will advocate for the developer team with the business side, and provide technical guidance to the developer team while managing e-commerce business users' daily requirements and several simultaneous projects varying in complexity. The Lead will also manage a developer team and must be hands-on in both front-end and back-end developments. The person selected for the role will report to the Sr. Web Architect but will also work with the Web Development Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The role entails coding, requirement gathering, and managing multiple concurrent priorities that span the entire software development life cycle.
- Devise possible solutions for anticipated problems in order to avoid disruption/problem.
- Plays a critical role in establishing a High Performing Applications that will work effectively across MIS and with business stakeholders.
- Responsible for writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing, and sometimes supporting applications using programming languages and development tools.
- Update, repair, modify, and develop existing software and generic applications.
- Present complex technical solutions to a wide range of users and have the ability to learn the latest technologies, while being a creative thinker, who can share skills and information freely.
- The Technical Team Lead will also mentor and train members of the team. Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6-8 years of work experience related to the role
- Experience with e-commerce is a must
- Needs to have lead experience (the role will handle a team of 5 developers)
Qualifications
Angular.js is required
.NET framework experience not required but helpful
Experience with e-commerce (any type) is a must
Need to have lead experience.
