Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Chief Gaming Business Officer to join our Gaming and Entertainment team in Buffalo, New York. In this senior leadership team role, the Chief Gaming Business Officer will create and implement the division program and business development strategy. The Chief Gaming Business Officer oversees project-based activities and gaming operations such as associate development, regulatory compliance, procedural compliance, and financials.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Gaming and Entertainment subsidiary in partnership with the subsidiary President and Chief Operating Officer.
- Oversee top gaming executives regarding operational project management of all gaming aspects including table games, slots, food and beverage, and hotel operations.
- Work with gaming management to develop the strategy for expansions, acquisitions, and new business opportunities.
- Partner with functional areas to drive service and program delivery as well as to provide insight to functional areas of field operations.
- Develop and implement process reviews, gaming policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Gaming Commission, federal compliance, and internal controls.
- Work with senior management to develop strategies for optimal performance.
- Develop and drive key metrics and goals inclusive of annual goal-setting processes and analytics to measure operational performance.
- Evaluate new assets for lease or purchase to grow the business.
- Oversee the purchase, due diligence, and development of new assets by gaming regulations.
- Develop strategic plans in all areas of responsibility to optimize the performance of the subsidiary.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for new business and growth.
- Maintain expertise on emerging technology and trends in the gaming and hospitality industries.
- Manage a high-performing team of associates; set clear direction and goals for associate growth and succession planning.
- Oversee Vice-President of Gaming and Vice President of Table Games.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- 10 years of Gaming experience at an Executive Level. Gaming, Food and Beverage, and Hotel experience are essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, project management skills, effective public speaking, exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage people effectively.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed established goals including the ability to meet established deadlines.
- Outstanding organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the goals and vision of the organization and commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Gaming Commission license in multiple jurisdictions.
- Travel between 26% to 50%.
