Enterprise Network Architect
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Local Candidates Required? : Strongly Preferred (local candidates will be considered first)
Duration: 12 month contract
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Experience working as a Network Architect within a large network environment
- Experience as a lead technician responsible for training team members
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise firewalls and WAN environments
- Experience troubleshooting in both WAN and LAN environments
- Previous experience working with MyFloridaNet (MFN) and the State Division of Telecommunications
- Command line configuration experience
- Ability to diagnose and provide resolution to platforms including but not limited to:
- Cisco
- Juniper
- F5
- Checkpoint
- Palo Alto, etc.
- Ability to develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
NICE TO HAVE:
- Previous state government projects
- Experience working in a criminal justice environment
- Cisco Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
- MyFloridaNet (MFN) configuration and design
- Configuring and applying best practices to Cisco SourceFire IPS
- Kiwi CatTools, Cisco Works, Rancid
- HP/Aruba, Cisco, Brocade switches
- Designing and deploying network access control
- Mapping remote LANs, and creating detailed documentation
- VoIP systems configuration, troubleshooting, and QoS
- Designing wireless networks with an emphasis on security
- Researching, developing and supporting network monitoring tools
- Linux system administration
- Programming in Python, C, and PowerShell scripting
- Using Offender Based Information System (OBIS)
- IT standards in a criminal justice environment
- Working with CSAB ordering processes
