Overview
CRNA practice includes pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, post-anesthetic care, pain management and responding to emergency situations related to airway management and cardiac life support techniques. The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an NBCRNA accredited school of nurse anesthesia
License, certification and/or registration: Maintains active Alabama RN/APN license. Current certification / recertification NBCRNA. Maintains current ACLS, PALS and BLS certification.
