Responsibilities
GLOTECH is searching for a Statistical Programmer to work in a collaborative team environment on a contract with the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) located in Bethesda, MD. This position is expected to have a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote (3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week).
The successful candidate will perform the below responsibilities:
- Program in SAS to prepare existing data sets for data sharing. The ability to write SAS macros is a plus.
- Provide data management support for research projects at NICHD.
- Identify data containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) per the DASH website criteria.
- Document studies and data sets to prepare for data sharing per the DASH website criteria.
- Present results to the client.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in statistics, epidemiology, computer science or related discipline.
- Proficient programming skills in SAS is a must, as well as experience with/knowledge of manipulating, managing and documenting health study data.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while having the flexibility of working both collaboratively and independently.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government level security clearance prior to hire.
