Emergency Medicine Opportunities in the San Francisco, CA area
Come live in Northern California! We have a very stable and growing independent,
democratic Emergency Medicine partnership with multiple practice areas in San
Francisco and Sonoma County. Live in the city, on a vineyard, or anything in between.
Six different practice sites including an urgent care and dedicated Peds ED. We staff
tertiary care and community sites in San Francisco as well as a critical access hospital
in next door county.
Excellent salary with RVU based pay and a base pay. Benefits package is extensive
including fully paid medical for family/dependents, dental, vision, 401k match, fully
funded HSA, CME. Additional benefits after 2 year partner track.
Multiple shifts available at the various sites. Moonlighter or full time positions. All sites
use EPIC.
Must be ABEM board certified or eligible with California License pending.
Pre partner salary range:
Currently, a pre-partner annual salary at our sites ranges around $210,000 to $280,000
depending on how many shifts and which shifts you're working (you get bonuses for working the
night shift). Once you're a partner, average starting partner distribution for the year is around
$100,000. Can go up to $500-$600k a year once you’re seasoned- there is no cap.

The campus provides a 24-hour emergency room, including special pediatric emergency care provided by doctors board certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine. General medical and surgical services are offered here, as well as key specialty care.

Provides 24-hour emergency room care to help people who suffer accidents, injuries or other serious medical conditions. The Emergency Department includes 16 treatment rooms designed to support care for people living with multiple chronic conditions and a rapidly growing older population.
The ER is an accredited Level 2 Geriatric Emergency Department — one of only three in California to earn this designation. The accreditation was developed by the American College of Emergency Physicians to ensure older people receive well-coordinated, quality care at the appropriate level when they go to the emergency room. Here, doctors and staff are trained to provide optimal geriatric emergency care, including interdisciplinary geriatric education, best practices and use of geriatric-appropriate equipment, for San Francisco's older patients.
