Healthcare United is actively seeking a B/C or B/E Gastroenterology physician to join a multi-specialty group in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. The physician will collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and engage patients, families, and caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Use medical instruments and equipment to examine patients for injuries or disorders.
- Record patient's medical history.
- Order tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to determine patient's condition.
- Analyze reports and findings, and diagnose patient's condition.
- Prescribe treatments and drugs as indicated by diagnosis.
- Advise patients on disease prevention methods and healthy habits.
- Round at hospitals and take emergency calls on rotation.
- Refer patients to other medical specialists as needed.
