Posting Description
Physician Primary Care/Clinical Director, Lexington, MIT Health, to be responsible for the management and quality assurance of all clinical services at MIT Health Lexington, including training and supervision for all clinical staff and licensed independent practitioners. Will act as a key leader onsite to support compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and clinical operations. Responsibilities include:
- Developing a cohesive staff development strategy for all Lexington employees, including clinical training and coaching in support of service line initiatives.
- Maintaining accountability for achieving goals and assuring that clinical care and operations are in accordance with regulatory requirements, clinical operational guidelines, and standards of clinical care.
- Leading patient care improvement initiatives.
- Serving as a mentor and role model to all clinical staff.
- Collaborating with other MIT Health leaders and providing support to redesign workflows and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective care delivery in alignment with MIT Health's priorities.
- Managing schedule to ensure the appropriate balance between clinical time (80%) and administrative leadership (20%).

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of family medicine residency program with an accredited U.S. institution; board certification or board eligibility in family medicine; current basic life support (BLS) provider card; valid MA license, MA CSR, and federal DEA; clinical experience and demonstrated competence in primary care; and clinical leadership experience.
PREFERRED: advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
