Mechanical Service Engineer to service clients on the West Coast including Canada and Mexico. Extensive travel is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and set up newly purchased machine(s) at customer location
- Repair machines / Service visits
- Training during installations
- Training on site or at the office
- Provide in-house technical support (strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting experience required)
- 80% to 100% travel required including but not limited to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Most travel is between 1 to 5 days, but candidate must be open to travel according to clients’ needs.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and knowledge with CNC cutting tools, hydraulics, pneumatics; mechanical and electrical skills (ability to read electrical blueprints)
- Must possess great oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Must have clean and valid driver's license
- Must have a valid U.S. passport
- Willingness and availability to travel as required
OTHER:
- Position location: West Coast, preferably San Francisco Bay Area
- Training in our client’s complete product line will be offered
