A large healthcare system in Pennsylvania is seeking a Medical Director for the Division of Adult Neurology in the Neurosciences Service Line to oversee neurology across the entire system. Position Highlights:
- Seven hospital system throughout Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania, covering over nine counties
- Team of 29 neurologists and 11 APPs in Neurology Division
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center
- Use of EPIC EMR with Dragon
- Neurohospitalist, Neurointerventional, Neurocritical Care Services and full complement of outpatient neurologists
- More than nine neurology clinic sites
- New affiliation with Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine to open medical school at York’s campus
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Report to CMO and VP of Neurosciences
- Well-established dyad leadership model
- Protected administrative time
- Key stakeholder in continued recruitment efforts
- Most any subspecialty would be welcomed and well-supported
- Those with clinical research experience and interests of particular interest
- Value quality patient care over quantity – flexible with patient scheduling
- Walk into office, medical assistant, and nursing support and a huge demand in the area
- The system has a shared governance with the physicians – have your input heard and valued
