Internal Medicine Cert Holder/Diplomate - Brentwood

Type: They are a small animal and exotic practice.

Practice: Independent, small animal, and exotics practice.

They currently have ophthalmologist, dermatologist, and surgeon (soft tissue, orthopaedic) who are certificate holders and working part-time at the moment and aim to extend to full-time.
Also one full-time vet with an exotic certificate, and one part-time exotic vet.
The practice is in Brentwood, Essex with 20 minutes train to London.
Strong client base.
The practice is equipped with a DR x-ray, a great ultrasound machine, a dental unit with a CR x-ray, CT, blood, and a urine machine, and shortly purchasing Imogyst.
They have invested in the practice and would buy the equipment as needed.
Dog and cat separated consultation, and kennels.

Role: They seek an Internal Medicine Specialist with a strong ultrasound bias who will handle challenging medical and imaging cases and improve the practice.

Hours:

This could be part-time 1/2 days a week, or full-time with 40 hours rota.
No Bank Holiday or Out-of-Hours.

Skills/Experience: They are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is passionate about Internal Medicine and will support the growth and the challenging medical and imaging cases within the practice.

Salary: Competitive - Reflective of skills and experience.

Benefits: The benefits package will be discussed in the interview but will include 4 weeks holiday p/a, CPD (mutual agreement starting at £1500), with VDS and RCVS paid.
